mert ma zárul számomra ez a német projekt és végre, irány bécs. node nem sokáig, hiszen már kezemben a holnapi bordkarte is: välkommen i sverige igen!

sajnos nem fényképeztem le tegnap este és ma reggel a hotel parkolóját: tegnap még 10-15 centis hóban gázoltam, ma reggelre az esti esőnek és felmelegedésnek köszönhetően újra vizes, zöld és dagonya minden: a hó ahogy jött múlt héten, úgy el is tűnt. és hamarosan én is eltűnök innen, a hóval együtt ;)

letzte woche

nos, tegnap esti állás szerint tényleg az utolsó hetem töltöm Herfordban. túlzás lenne azt mondanom, fáj vagy hiányozni fog. nem fog hiányozni, de nem is volt annyira nehéz, mint amennyire az elején, vagy közben gondoltam, hogy nehéz lesz. sokkal simábban ment minden, mint gondoltam.

most már csak a rendelt és a raktárba szállított áruimat kell megszereznem - ami baszottul nem egyszerű, mert mikor máskor állna haptákba egy német szőke picsa, mint amikor pont lekéssük a hétfői 10-12es sávot az átvételre. azért ilyen se az osztrákoknál, se svédeknél, se hollandoknál nincs: bezzeg németeknél - nade itt is van némi személyes elbírálás. bennem is, legszívesebben egy széklábat állítanék e csökött nő gerince helyére. legalább fél éve vagyunk itt, mind megoldásokon gondolkozunk, átépítünk dolgokat, erre egy ilyen egyszerű kérdésben nem hajlandó segíteni, kicsit sem. mintha én döntöttem volna el, hogy ez lesz az utolsó hetem :) vicc, de tényleg. persze szőke, persze szingli, persze persze.
úgyis megoldjuk, csak percek kérdése és máris raktáron kívül lesz ez az áru. bámulatos, hol tart már a tudomány!

nem várt csomag fogadott másfél órája az ajtómban, egész pontosan, a küszöbömön - a lencse. kedves dhl és kedves lakók, köszönöm! ezzel nem vettetek el 2 órát utazással holnap, nem kell kimásznom még Meidlingen is túlra, ahová épeszű ember nem jár.

garancia keretében javították meg a darabot, küldték vissza - jelenleg, alacsony fény mellett is makulátlanul működik. kíváncsi leszek persze, jelentkezik-e még egyszer ez a hiba, de remélem, egyáltalán nem. mondanom sem kell, minden garanciapapír ott volt a csomagban.

viszont arra nem voltam felkészülve, hogy nadrág próbálás közben anyum a boltvezető sráccal zendít rá a 'ritka rozs, ritka árpa' örökbecsű nótára. a szürreális csak finom jelző, mivel hirtelen megjelent a kisfoxi is, aki majd beleugrott csirkehúsokkal teli táskámba, majd üvegdísz-frizurájú boltvezető mutti, aki lelkesen rámkacsint: jól áll a fekete farmer. wunderbar.

ugyan nem annyira értem, hogyan gondolta a bécsi dhl, hogy pénteken bármilyen időtájban itthon leszek reggel 8 és este 6 között, mindenesetre már itt járt az új objektív, amit egyenesen a német raktárból küldtek. semmi gond, jövő pénteken majd átveszem a bécsi dhl központban, csak kint van persze a halálon túl, túl a philadelphiabrückén is. jövő héten pénteken is korán kelünk ;)

ugyan december utolsó napjaiban vettem meg hivatalosan, csak most kaptam kézhez postával éves bérletemet a wiener linien és a vor járataira. annak idején 6-7 percet álltam sorba, nem többet. egyből kaptam egy bónszerű kártyát, ami mostanáig volt érvényes. mostantól pedig íme a fényképes éves bérlet.
mivel havi fizetést / levonást kértem, így 370€ az ára a 365€ helyett - ugye tömegközlekedést napi 1€-ért - viszont így is csak 10szer vonnak egy évben, nem 12szer. a végső csapás a bérleten olvasható: ne fáradjon irodáinkba, értesítjük majd a hosszabbítási feltételekről. vagy úgy, szóval ez a szolgáltatásra épülő ipar ;)

s mától számítva már csak 2 hét január 31, vele együtt búcsút is intek Herfordnak. egy élmény volt, komolyan. viszont ha összeszámolom, hány napot töltöttem az elmúlt fél évben itt, s mennyit bécsben eddig összesen - bizony majdnem ugyanannyi időt. jó lesz hétköznap is aktivizálódni újra, már nagyon hiányzik és várom. végre.
azért tegnap még bevásároltam a fiskars termékekből, elvégre kellenek a kések, ollók.

schallplatten '12: the hermit

another long-time friend, the mighty Ihsahn from far norse showing his latest offering on Eremita. for those who have not yet heard of him: probably its better to start listening to on below channel and decide. for those, who already know him: well, i can not add any new details, you know his toolbox already.
nevertheless, it would have been blunt to state Eremita does not have new colours compared to the much-experimenting After. imho Ihsahn's creative composition skills were first utilized at the time of the famous Anthems (which record is probably the best after many years what black metal ever offered), fine-tuned on the last 2 Emperor recordings (Prometheus being a real killer up to date). Peccatum marks an important turn in Ihsahn's approach. while starting this project even more theatrical and layered in styles as Emperor ever was, when putting an end to this family gathering the compositions showed a tendency of being pure, simple and palatable even for unexperienced ears. turning into solo, Adversary is a full canvas with all styles ever practiced. on the contrary angL is focusing on the metal genre with a progressive (how i hate this adjective, omg) edge.
what i find impressive is the works from this point on: After is still being a monolith for modern extreme metal (remember the 8stringed guitars with fretless solo bass?). and then this recent addition to the collection: Eremita.

this hermit continues his work where he left from sight. fortunately experiments did not stop, they are now played mainly in mid-level frequencies compared to the low edges last time. stylish excursions make this record round as a whole: from '70ies prog movements to mindblowing saxo-neurotics - Jørgen_Munkeby from fellow norwegian Shining (not the trendy swedish posers, of course) - to a graveyard soundscape to finish this masterpiece. all linked together with a really clever, pure though creative polyphonic guitar play. Ihsahn truly shows his capabilities as a songwriter, guitarist and producer, all in one. though being a bit more opened and accessible than its predecessor, for a strange reason this treasure box hides its gems longer.

bármennyire is semmilyen, ez a három srác nagyon megváltoztatta a zenéhez való hozzáállásomat és felfogásomat jópár évvel ezelőtt. igencsak ajánlom - természetesen norvégok, az ottani futurejazz vonal képviselői szintén, mint Bugge eggyel lejjebb.

ki gondolta volna, hogy e tengertől nem távoli vesztfál tájon is fagyhat, sőt egész éjszaka -5 fok alatt, 20-30centis hóval borított a táj? gyönyörű, csak közlekedni nehezebb.

rendesen esett a hó már vasárnap napközben is, ám éjjel igencsak rátett még több lapáttal. reggelre masszív 25-30 centis hó állt végig a városon, a síneken, mindenhol. igen ám, csak reptérre kellett érnem - amit megrögzött tömegközlekedőként schnellbahnnal teszek meg, ha már ott megy el mellettem a fővonal. a hóesés ellenére összesen 5 percet késet a szerelvény, sőt a villamos egy percet sem. jól szervezett tömegközlekedéssel persze ez nem lehet probléma, ugyebár.

schallplatten '12: kolossus

although there have never been as much bands on the scene as nowadays, a steadily raising portion of them use similar tools when composing. this statement is true for pop, electro, rock, metal - all the scenes, regardless of direction or movement.
and there is a minority of odd bands. bands, whom are easily recognized and follow a path unknown to others. experimenting with ale while others brew the same lager. swede meshuggah is certainly producing an ale of psychosis attracting folks.
this band has to be seen live at least once in a lifetime. and even though they experienced with no live-drums on recordings after massively collaborating to create EZ drummer. started to play live without any guitar cabinets on stage, while introducing 8stringed instruments first on the scene. even play without a bass (cause with 8strings the natural bass frequency is just there). when hitting the wall with all these artifical tools, they turned back on their earlier record, obZen and now presenting the much more focused Koloss. a pure metal inferno. a wave of tribal grooves distorted and lowered. for me: another proof for ingenuity.
if i had one wish, would like to receive a collection of songs next time like the end part of the hurt finding me first, marrow, or breaking my bones which gave them motion. these parts are probably the darkest psychedelia ever recorded in such delicate, soft fashion. this is what meshuggah is all about and the reason to put my headphones up, turn volume to the boost and shout out loud with Jens and the guys. marvellous.

schallplatten '12: ana, basis, stasis

a return is never doubtless. it draws questions of better sleeping, about a newcome pride and motivation. especially a group pulsing like a quasar in music galaxy and impacting so diverse lifeforms, from etno to goth and ambient, it is damn hard to bring out a newfound sense that matches with all those who merited earlier. of course it does not, nevertheless it is not loss.
dead can dance was never an easy group to start with. they offer meaningful songs, songs which will follow their listeners and instantly playing when it is time to remember. marked with one of the earliest beauty and the beast vocal duet and definitely the finest female vocalist of our age. enough, let's meet their recent: Anastasis.
musically these songs could have been composed between Spleen and Ideal and Serpent's Egg (the latter being a forgotten treasure of this band). on the contrary to their eighties season these songs are composed for live gigs. no interludes this time - though that dcd vibe is rounding all these compositions. except one: irish-esque she-king did not meet my expectations, suffers lack of origin, high time.
all in all this is record worth to listen like all their earlier ones. Lisa, Brendan - welcome back, missed you.

schallplatten '12: death-defying unicorn

another unknown norwegian monster: motorpsycho. a rock trio evolving to modern contemporary music, showing capabilities in genuine songwriting and stunning orchestral parts, thanks to Ståle Storløkken. this group won Spellemannprisen (kinda norwegian Grammy) 4 times, which is really exceptional.
back to Ståle: this guy plays keyboards in the kult-improvisators formation Supersilent. here he adds so much dimension to the base trio, though their earlier own record, Heavy Metal Fruit also shows soundscape extravaganza. can not explain with words how colourful and captivating this double-LP is, it just needs time and huge walks in parks to start to feel. unforgettable.

schallplatten '12: clockwork rush

it is my pity not to come across with canadian Rush so far. already existing for 10 years when i was born and still going forward, this time with Clockwork Angels. as long friends of sci-fi and fantasy literature, these three old chaps now turned to one of the most unique territory called steampunk. music-wise Rush is onwards to create the perfect aor record of our age, after flirting with synths in the '80ies and taking a curve to meet with Seattle-based grunge in the '90ies.
now it is time to enter Clockwork Angels. although there are a few spectacle songs on this record - particularly The Anarchist and Headlong Flight (supported with a great montage video) - again, similar to the previous Utilitarian this album dominates with its monstrous power. not forgetting about their roots as a rock trio, all the additional elements are here for flavour only. really liked the strings orchestra, they always go hand in hand with guitars and bass. and that leads to another strength of this band: building your sound. Rush is seeking for the massive equation for almost 50 years now and still able to step one above. there are no mistakes or random decisions in their sound, it is all conscious and staggering. all the little details can be found easily yet the main parts draw each riff, each refrain and songs. nevertheless, this trio knows each other and their talent well. enough of verbal masturbation, if you wanna know about rock, you need this record. perfect production, stylish composing overall and again, that last bit of sharpness.

mai cikk, címlapos és bizony nagyon fontos dolgokról szól, elsőre nem is annyira egyértelmű szemszögből.

kultfilm itthonról, zeneileg is pazar (igen, ez az a film, ahol megjelenhetett az addig tiltott VHK és a Bizottság) korképpel a '80as évek elejéről - ez a ma esti kikapcsolódásom tárgya.
lábjegyzet: a 14-15. perc körüli szónoklatot pedig divatkeresztény elvtársainknak küldöm nemcsak szeretettel, hanem józanításul.

schallplatten '12: utilitarian

another flagship sailing in, this time even more important in extreme worldwide underground: napalm death. am following them closely since their smear campaign, which was at least as innovative as the famous diatribes in mid-'90ies.
in a closed and strict world, like grindcore, where your tools and assets are fairly limited it is damn hard to come back for the 15th crusade. or at least for 12th, if old-school demo fans claiming their first 3 records as 'the original masterpieces'. well, for my taste it was diatribes when we shaked hands and since then it is their raw, unstoppable force and their ability to slow down half-tempo with a surprising blast which makes the difference. utilitarian might not be that special in their collection, though it is still as raw and shows energy that spreads like fire. involving John Zorn, blessed be his name, just adds the necessary wildness - and for fans also into the trve-kvlt Painkiller a short 20years earlier it is no surprise - that this joint venture could possibly give to this world. utilitarian is even not their most memorable recording for sure. however, as a lethal unit, this stuff is so comprehensive that hardly any other band can reach up to napalm's enthusiasm and toughness for that long.

és bizony, Tománnak köszönhetően ismét összejön az éves svéd trip, egyből a német projektem zárulta után, február első napjaiban. már biztosan repülök, vivát!

a Wien Energie felé tavalyi évben nem épp csekély 1200€ átalányt kellett fizetnem, az egész évre. persze eközben mérték a valós fogyasztásomat is, jómagam meg német kiruccanásaim alatt gondosan zártam a bojlert, fűtést. ennek eredménye, hogy idénre havi 100€ helyett 44,40€ a havi átalánydíjam. itt jegyzem meg: online oldalukon bármikor lehet állítani a befizetések időpontján és összegén, amit automatikusan vonnak számládról anélkül, hogy egyetlen bankfiókban jártál volna.

ohh, újabb takarékosság, melynek eredménye legalább havi 2 sushi ;)

far-north forestborn swedes returning this year with their new record called Vertikal. despite their usual topics of northern loneliness and merging to nature, this time a new direction is being set to compose a contemporary soundtrack which fits the cult-movie Metropolis by Fritz Lang. quite brave move to say the least: Metropolis is just epic and an important milestone of movie-making in general. not a surprise that Herr Lang received lifelong praise in Hollywood after a bastard with moustache built a similar falanstére using german resources.
anyway, here is one of the first reviews of Vertikal by Cult of Luna.

really do feel need to excuse myself of becoming addicted to worldwide metal's most popular butchers, namely: Cannibal Corpse
never been into death metal myself - at least not the american way - it was most surprising to me afterall repeatedly finding their recent record Torture on my playlist. of course, since this band hammered and smashed faces, fucked with knives or devoured by vermin, they have been always a flagship of extreme technical music. why do i feel myself wet then? cause these songs are just remarkable and perfect, all over this record.

hangszerelők

Tóth Andris, a oneheadedman gitárosa igen faszányos blogot indított - hangszerelés, keverés, szokványos zenei hibák elkerülése és megértése érdekében. nagyon ajánlom, pedig még friss, mint egy most rögzített sáv.

schallplatten '12: poszthumusz est

ezennel új rovatot és taget (aka ficer) üdvözölhettek a blogon: schallplatten
semmi különös, hiszen írtam én régebben is zenékről mindenkinek, így most jópár évvel később egy kicsit magamnak skríbolok. meg akit érdekelhet, ugyebár. most pedig arra gondoltam, szép lassan felsorolom, milyen tavalyi lemezek pörögtek legtöbbször az ipodomon. és akkor lőn.

az EST elég fontos zenekarrá nőtte ki magát, míg egy tragikus baleset következtében a zenekarvezető Esbjörn nem jött már fel egy svéd tó aljáról. hogy az EST micsoda erővel bírt élőben, azt már a Leucocyte alig editált felvétele is hűen mutatta - a poszthumusz 301 pedig még elemibb és ösztönösebb. lehet, hogy ebből a felvett anyagból még szerkesztgettek volna a svédek, de talán jobb is, hogy ez nem így történt.

kein stress

egyben az év főmottója: mert tényleg nincs miért aggódnom. ellenben bízom.

ohne alkohol

mert tegnap döbbentett rá, hogy az elmúlt fél évben szinte naponta fogyasztok italt (akkor is, ha csak egy pohárral). decemberben már megjelentek a minőségi teafüvek, valamint a vöslauer ízesített vizei is - ezek amúgy nem cukrosak, inkább savankás, fanyar ízviláguk van ami nekem nagyon ízlik. avagy az első próba idénre.

frohes, neues, rutsch

a bécsi újév a tűzijátékokról, petárdákról, házibulikról és kocsmázó baráti társaságokról szól. petárdázás alatt értem a teljes aknasor felállítását, vagy akár 4-5 éves kissrácok piromán oktatását is akár török, akár osztrák sötét paraszt légyen a kedves szülő.

viszont az éjféli tűzijátékos égbolt tényleg gyönyörű.
